Refund Policy for Studio Ours

At Chan Design Co., we care deeply about the quality and creativity behind every piece we offer. Our shop features a mix of handmade goods from local makers and artists as well as curated wholesale items distributed through Studio Ours. Because of that, our refund policy differs slightly depending on the type of product purchased.

1. Handmade Goods by Local Makers & Artists

Each handmade item in our shop is a unique work of art, crafted by independent artists and makers who are part of our creative community.

  • All handmade items are nonrefundable.

  • Because these pieces are made and sold through individual makers, any issues or concerns (such as damage, defects, or missing parts) are the responsibility of the maker, not Studio Ours

  • We’re always happy to connect you directly with the maker if an issue arises — just reach out and we’ll facilitate communication to help resolve it quickly and kindly.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and support of local artists and the handmade process — each piece truly carries the hands and heart of its creator.

2. Wholesale Products Distributed Through Studio Ours

For all other products that come through Studio Ours, our trusted wholesale distributor:

  • Refunds or exchanges may be offered under fair and reasonable conditions (for example, if an item arrives damaged or defective).

  • Requests for returns must be made within 7 days of purchase or delivery.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us directly so we can guide you through the process.

3. Workshops, Classes & Events

Because event sizes are limited and materials are prepared in advance, cancellations made at least 7 days before a class or event are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled date may receive credit toward a future class or event instead.
