About the event
Join the AAPI Co for an evening of crafting, bringing in luck and prosperity for the Lunar New Year. Sakura trees bloom in the spring, and are known for welcoming new beginnings. Though typically short lived, in this workshop you will create an everlasting cherry blossom flower arrangement to take home as a farewell to the winter cold.
In this workshop, you will design your own wax cherry blossom flower arrangement with the help of Jas, floral designer and founder of Asian American Pacific Islander Collective. At the end of the night you will leave with your own curated arrangement in a vase, perfect as the centerpiece of a table or just to brighten up your home for the spring. Learn more about Lunar New Year traditions, old and new, and see what else AAPI Co are planning in the upcoming year!
