Rug Tufting Workshop

Each station will have a tufting frame, pre stretched with monks cloth, a tufting gun, needle threader, yarn and backing for the rug. Each class patron will have a choice between different designs to choose from that will be preemptively decided and stenciled onto the stretched frame (butterfly, smiley face, monstera leaf, mushroom, and a custom option if applicable).

This class will be about the basics on how to make a handmade rug and guide you as we go. In total the class should be about 2-hours. After sealing the backs of the rugs with adhesive they will need 24 hours to dry, where I will then put the backings on and finish up the rug behind the scenes, to be picked up during store hours Wednesday - Sunday 10AM - 5PM.
