About the event
My name is Malcolm Key, welcome to The Soundpainter. Each week, I highlight the connection between music and fine art. Focusing on storytelling with music, what art does through visuals. Each week I will share a couple of artworks, and play music that I feel each piece connects with, in order to create a sonic landscape for you, the listener, as if you were stepping into the artwork itself.
The Soundpainter: LIVE is a live performance of the weekly show, where I will host a set mix of music based on the artworks of choice. Think of it as an exhibition of both art and sound. As you experience the music live, you will also be immersed into the artworks that have been curated.
